Three easy steps to making your own rope
This guy is making rope!
One: Take a piece of sisal, a knife and something like your shoe. Run the knife over each side of the sidal left bracing again your shoe to release the fibers.
Untangle
Fold the fibers in half and divide in two. Then roll the separated sections between your leg and hand and release... the rolling one direction will have created the tension to twist the two sections together.
This guy made it look easy and later in the day we interviewed a woman who was doing it basically without looking. I'm sure if I tried, it wouldn't go as smoothly as in my three easy steps.
